Making complex software feel clear.

I’m Andrew. I build thoughtful interfaces for complex products—and use AI coding agents throughout planning, implementation, and review. I own the architecture, the judgment, and what ships.

02 / WORK AT PENDO

Making the connections work.

At Pendo, I build interfaces and integration systems—and help explore how AI agents fit into everyday engineering, from investigation to reviewed, tested changes.

Agentic engineering in practice

Use AI agents across planning, implementation, review, and validation. Led an engineering session sharing that workflow, including how to steer agents and work effectively with coding harnesses.

How I work with agents ↗
01

Data Sync to Snowflake

Built frontend experiences for Pendo’s direct Snowflake data connection as the integration team’s sole frontend engineer.

02

Integrations in Japan

Drove the Tray integration migration and deployment work for Pendo’s Japan region, then extended the release path to support it.

HubSpot integration reliability

Diagnosed and fixed behavior in Pendo’s HubSpot integration that was consuming excess integration tasks, improving reliability and efficiency.

03 / AI IN THE ENGINEERING LOOP

Building with agents.
Owning the outcome.

The past year has changed how I work. My focus is making agents useful inside real engineering workflows.

[01] CONTEXT

Set the agent up to succeed.

Turn an ambiguous request into a scoped plan. Use repository instructions, reusable skills, and deliberate context handoffs to keep longer tasks on track.

[02] EXECUTION

Keep the loop moving.

Work across Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. Use managed agents for engineering triage, inspect their findings, and carry useful context into the next step.

[03] JUDGMENT

Review what actually happened.

Check generated changes against the code, tests, and product intent. Share working techniques with engineers and help assess AI engineering skills in interviews.

04 / HOW I WORK

Craft with a purpose.

01

Find the actual problem

Start with the people and workflow behind the request. Good interfaces come from getting the model right.

02

Build for the long run

Make the system understandable, accessible, and fast enough to stay useful as it grows.

03

Ship and learn

Work across design and engineering, put real software in people’s hands, and improve it from evidence.

05 / EXPERIENCE

The path so far.

From integration and support work to senior frontend engineering, I’ve spent my career making complicated software more usable.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

An engineer who still likes to tinker.

I’m based in the Raleigh area and currently work on frontend experiences at Pendo. Outside of work, I build software for my own ideas, experiment with agents and new models, and run a home lab. I like work that brings thoughtful design and reliable engineering together.
